Janice Clark

B.Sc. (Hons) Psych., MAPS

 

Janice is a highly skilled psychologist with extensive experience in providing psychological services to individuals and couples in a variety of settings including private practice, hospitals, community-based organisations as well as working with Australian Defence members.

 

Janice is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). and an accredited Medicare/Private Health Insurance provider/as well as a registered provider for DVA and Workcover. 

 Janice has broad expertise and training in a broad range of therapeutic modalities and techniques, including:

 

• Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT)

• Trauma Focused Therapies

• Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)

• Schema therapy, acceptance

• Commitment therapy (ACT)

• Mindfulness-based therapies

• Solution-focused brief therapy (SBFT)

• Affect Regulation Therapy

. Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy

 

Janice has a particular interest in relationship therapy, and EMDR therapy; and has experience in the clinical supervision of psychologists and other health professionals.

 

Having worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, she has the ability to create a supportive, compassionate environment where you are encouraged to be an active participant in your path to emotional well-being, sustainable relationships and a balanced lifestyle.
